It started as a cheapy oak builder-grade kitchen with beige tile floors and white tile countertops. Ick.

Since our cabinets were still only 5 years old, we opted to diy reface/repaint and do the countertop demo ourselves. So what we have is:

DIY refaced/repainted cabinets with new poplar square raised panel doors and drawer fronts, painted in Behr's Vermont Cream using a Sherwin Williams oil-based semi-gloss. Display glass is "seedy" from my local glass shop. We also added hidden Amerock hinges (they were previously exposed and ugly) and satin nickel knobs and pulls (Knob Tree). Doors and drawer fronts are from Randy Howse cabinet doors in Canada. They also did the hinge drilling for us.
