• Cabinets: Original 1988 Oak cabinets/ used Minwax Polyshades on them in Bamboo Mahogany to darken them.
  
• Countertops: WilsonArt Terra Roca

• Sink: We kept the one that was in the house when we bought it

• Hardware: Ordered from Target online, Oil Rubbed Bronze
  
• Paint: Lowe's Eddie Bauer Crimson

I just finished my kitchen...painted it red and love it. I was so impressed with RedBazel's kitchen that I tried to model after it as much as I could...still working with the same late 80's orangy oak cabinets. I also painted my laundry room and mudroom and am very pleased with it all. Took me about 4 months with time out from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

As you can see from the pictures the kitchen needed updating badly. We bought the house in June 2004 when we moved my mother in with us and just lived with it for over 2 years due to time restraints while caring for her. We aren't sure how long we are staying in this house
so we didn't want to spend a large amount of money on a re-do. We did all of the wallpaper removal and painting ourselves. We also painted the popcorn ceiling.
We changed all of the hardware/hinges and did the Minwax on the cabinets. We had someone do the countertops, backsplash and the floor which also included the laundry room, mudroom, half bath and pantry off the mudroom.
While we were at it we also repainted the laundry room, and mudroom with Lowe's Eddie Bauer Patina.

Details:

• Cabinets: Ikea Tidaholm, shaker oak (installed by a certified Ikea installer)
• Granite: Golden Oak
• Backsplash: Corian routed to look like tile. It looks much better in person than in the pictures (it looks like unfinished drywall in the pictures). It is nice, but I wish it had a bit more pop!
• Faucet: Delta Victorian.
• Sink: Pegasus
  
• Hot water dispenser: ISE, love it.
• Appliances: We kept all of our Frigidaire Gallery appliances (the microwave is new, the old one died during the remodel!). I'm going to replace the dishwasher soon.
• Flooring: Mirage brand natural oak. Couldn't talk DH into the walnut!

• Cabinets: Knotty Alder
• Countertops: The countertops in the working kitchen are Green Galaxy granite, and the ones in the dining area are Forest Web Brown marble.
• Sink: purchased on ebay from Amanda Jane's Attic. I picked the design I wanted and we worked out the size and they made it for me. It is made in China - not Mexican copper. The original sink we purchased was hammered copper from Mexico - and we were very much unsatisfied with it when it arrived, so we returned it. Then thank goodness I found Amanda Janes! I recommend them very highly for their service and quality product.

• Copper Faucet: The faucet is a Danze faucet. It is not a living finish. It has some sort of sealer on it to keep it from tarnishing.

• Countertops - Santa Rita Soapstone from soapstone west in San Diego

• Rangetop - Wolf 36" 6 burner
• Dishwasher - Bosch
• Fridge - Viking 48" sxs (but they are coming this week to change the doors- they sent the designer instead of the professional handles.
• Floors - cherry
• Lights - restoration hardware
• 2 airgaps and 2 airswitches because there are 2 dishwashers and a garbage disposal on each side of the sink
