My finished kitchen

Details:

• Cabinets: custom; made with formaldehyde free plywood (i had not contemplated custom until i read here that sometimes they come in at and below national brands)
• Counters: Carrara marble (I love them, nobody could talk me out of them; they etch, but i have had no problems with staining)
• Backsplash: the subway tile is from a local tile store, I'm not sure what brand, and the grout is a light grey color.
• Floors: Southern Wood Floors engineered pine;
• Sinks: Franke; the apron sink is 30" and is white
• Faucets: Blanco
• Stools: industrial from some online place; i already had 2 martha stewart ones from years ago, and ordered the gray ones and had them painted at an auto body shop to match the other 2 i had
• Lights: urban archaeology
• Paint: BM lime sorbet on walls; Simply White on cabinets
• white tin canisters are from Martha Stewart, I soooo miss her catalog!
• ceiling is beaded board that was custom made by our contractor out of the same formaldehyde free plywood that he used to make the cabinets.
  
• windows and doors are Jeld-Wen, I believe; the window was doubled in size from the old one, and the french doors replaced sliders.
• jadeite punch bowl.
• fridge is Kenmore. It was not a new purchase. I do love it, though. It has plenty of room and I love having the freezer drawer in the bottom. The glass front cabinet is 9" deep. I have bar glasses below and it is across from the beverage fridge, so it all flows and functions very well.
  
• hardware -for the life of me, I cannot remember where I got my hardware, but I think it came from 2 different places online.
  

We have an old house; the original structure dates back to the 1800's, and it was expanded over the years. The structure that you see in the back is an old carriage house.
