We are still waiting for the final light fixture over the sink, and the new table and chairs, but it still is a great improvement.

And let me be the second to say that you have an absolutely beautiful kitchen! It also helped me with a design decision of my own. I'm now painting the inside of my glass-fronted cabinets too. My DH kept telling me to leave them the way they were, and I always suspected they'd look better if the interior matched the exterior. Yours confirmed that! Thanks!

drchuck... Beautiful Kitchen! Love your travertine floors! I remember seeing the Antique Brown granite at the yards, sometimes it's hard to imagine them installed on a horizontal surface... they look wonderful, goes great with your cabinets!

Beautiful kitchen. We have Brookhaven too - sierra maple w/edgemont doors. What kind of table and chairs are you getting? I got some stain from Brookhaven to match the cabs (for the table and chairs), but that may be too much of the same.

We are getting a Canadel set,boat shaped, Walnut pub table ,with an Ebony stain. The seats are cream colored leather to match the floor.

Everything goes so perfectly together! Love the backsplash tiles, especially. The granite is really wonderful, too. And boy, you sure have a lot of cabinets, lucky you! Congratulations on a job well done!

CherylAp, funny you should say we have so many cabinets, my DW complains that there is less storage space than the previous kitchen. We removed a penninsula with overhead cabinetry, really opened up the space, but the result is less storage. Oh well I guess we will have to give some things away to our daughter in college.
