Kitchen Renovation
Joe and I designed our kitchen, instead of using a kitchen designer. We designed the kitchen layout so we could both be in the kitchen at the same time without running over each other. John Lackey of Lackey Woodworking in Santa Cruz, CA turned our vision into reality.

Cabinets
Custom made frameless shaker style red birch in a natural finish with prefinished maple interiors, Blum hinges and Accuride full extension glides. Cabinet features include fluted specialty glass inserts and lighting in most of the upper cabinets, 2 appliance garages with tambour doors, vertical spice pull out cabinets on each side of the cooktop, one tiered spice drawer and cabinet overlay panels for the refrigerator, refrigerator drawers and dishwasher drawers. Cabinet accessories from Rev-A-Shelf include a chef's roll-out pantry system, 2 blind corner units, a trash/recycle unit and tray dividers in the cabinet above the ovens.
