Your kitchen looks great! I hope you are enjoying it. It has a fresh and clean look but also comfortable/cozy. I especially like your two small windows - they are charming. |

Your kitchen looks great and I really like those windows! Also, that dog-shaped, rug-type-accessory really brings out the highlights in the natural maple cabinets :-) I'll have to remember that when I pick out my cabinet stain... wonder what goes with Greater Swiss Mountain Dog? |

Very nice! I like the blend of colors, it all goes really well together,(Including the "dog shaped, rug-type accessory" that Free at last mentioned),and your cabinets are beautiful. |

What a cozy kitchen. I love it! Can't wait to see pics of that backsplash up. That mosaic is going to transform an already terrific kithchen to a spectacular one. Congrats! Tudi |

Gorgeous kitchen Nokeys! Looks like such a very workable space. I love the open and airy feeling. Even plenty of room for Bear and still allows you to cook! Poor cranky bear ;-( I do think it's genetically bred into house dogs for the large ones to lay in the direct path of traffic....and the smaller ones to wrap themselves around your ankles. I'll bet Bear is glad all the hubub is over! |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
Great choices, open yet cozy. That layout must be so easy to work in. Enjoy! |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
Your kitchen looks wonderful. Those little windows are a special touch, but even more it's that picture of your big sink that really talks to me! Happy cooking! |

It looks great! Do you live in Montauk? I love the faucet and darn why didn't I look at Kitchenaid ranges? I especially love the very large fur baby. What are your plans for the backsplash? Pecan - you crack me up! |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
Beautiful kitchen! I love your maple cabinets. You have really created a nice light, airy feeling that should make it a great place to cook. |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
Congratulations! What a lovely room, I bet you just walk in a gloat. It's great inspiration, I'm awaiting my natural maple cabinets in a few more weeks... |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
Looks great. I think all your selections work really well with the natural maple. Your doggie approves! |
RE: nokyeysyet's finished kitchen
thanks everyone! your lovely comments really make the last 4 years of obsession melt away! for the poster w/ the Q about the backsplash- it's a great question. in fact Dh & i were just talking about it. i originially was going to run the backsplash along & behind the counter. but the windows are so great & we love them so much... we don't want to take any of their attraction away. so the long of the short of this answer is: i think i will just put the backsplash here only (just for a hint of colour) thanks again everyone! and Bear is very happy to hear he is so popular! |

beachmama- it's white oak with a 'natural' stain. glad you like it, i had gone back & forth on that choice for some time. |
