Transitional Tuscan Kitchen with Large Island

Details:
  • Cabinets: local custom, maple with warm walnut stain
  • Countertop: New Venetian Gold granite
  • Backsplash: tumbled travertine called Tumbled Viarta with enhanced sealer and local custom made accent tiles behind the range
  • Refrigerator and Freezer: from Frigidaire. They are separate units made to look like one large unit. They are counter depth and aren't really as big inside as they look.
  • Range: 48" Bluestar
  • Hood liner: VAH, 1200 cfms.
  • Sink: Artisan
  • Pendants: from Elk Lighting, Stone Mosaic Collection, yes they are hung at different lengths, we had to order extra chain
  • Floor: porcelain called Angkor Oro made to look like stone with 4 different sizes set in a french pattern on the diagonal
  • Paint: BM Desert Tan
  • Faucets: Rohl in polished nickel
  • Hardware: Emtek Tuscany Twist, medium bronze
The island is roughly 14' long with a semi circle for seating.

how do you like the refrigerator unit? have you had any problem with them?
